No shocking result in a game when third rankedLublin (8-4) defeated at home 8th ranked Torun (4-8) 88-78 on Sunday. Lublin looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian power forward Laura Miskiniene-Svaryte (190-1992) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Stella Johnson (173-1998, college: Rider) who added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Savannah Wheeler (168-2001, college: MTSU) with 20 points and 7 assists and Danish swingman Sarah Mortensen (185-1997, college: Villanova) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Torun's coach Elmedin Omanic rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Lublin maintains third position with 8-4 record behind leader Polkowice. Torun lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost.
