OBL top team -Anwil (12-2) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked MKS (3-11) in Dabrowa Gornicza 87-77 . Anwil made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. The former international swingman Michal Michalak (196-1993) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. American forward DJ Funderburk (208-1997, college: NC State) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Anwil players scored in double figures. American guard Teyvon Myers (188-1994, college: WVU) replied with 27 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Tyler Cheese (193-1996, college: Akron) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for MKS. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anwil maintains first position with 12-2 record. MKS lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost.
