There was no surprise in Dabrowa Gornicza where 16th rankedMKS (3-13) was defeated by fifth ranked Legia (9-7) 97-79 on Thursday. Legia dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to MKS 's 34. Legia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international Andrzej Pluta (190-2000) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 assists and American-Guyanese Kameron McGusty (197-1997, college: Miami, FL) who added 21 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side swingman Marcin Piechowicz (198-1993) responded with 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Swedish center Mattias Markusson (217-1996, college: LMU) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Legia maintains fifth position with 9-7 record, which they share with King. MKS lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
