Everything went according to plan when first rankedSokol (18-3) outplayed 11th ranked Kruszwica (8-12) in Miedzychod 94-75 on Saturday. Miedzychod outrebounded Kruszwica 46-33 including 36 on the defensive glass. Miedzychod looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kruszwica 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Miedzychod made 9 blocks. Adrian Sobkowiak (184-2001) nailed 26 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Jan Smiglak (194-2005) accounted for 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Sokol's coach Marcin Chodkiewicz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Antoni Gawarecki (180-2006) came up with 18 points and 4 assists and Krzysztof Kozlowski (198-1992) added 16 points respectively for Kruszwica in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sokol have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Miedzychod maintains first place with 18-3 record, which they share with Legionowo. Newly promoted Kruszwica dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Wiara Lecha.
