Regular Season Round 30: Radom - Tychy 65-72

Everything went according to plan in Radom where ninth rankedGKS (16-14) beat 17th ranked HydroTruck (8-22) 72-65 on Wednesday. Tychy outrebounded Radom 44-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Tomasz Snieg (190-1989) who scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Szymon Szmit (194-2002) chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Daniel Wall (196-1982, agency: BIG) who recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Jakub Zalewski (184-1986) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tychy moved-up to eighth place, which they share with LKS Lodz. Radom lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 22 games lost. They share it with Sopot. Tychy will meet at home higher ranked Inowroclaw (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Radom will play against Polonia W-wa (#11) in Warszawa and hope to secure a win.
