Regular Season Round 23: Stargard - GTK 82-87

There was a minor upset when 12th rankedSpojnia (8-15) lost to fourteenth ranked GTK (8-15) in Stargard 82-87 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian point guard Mario Ihring (193-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 8 assists. American-Nigerian guard Michael Oguine (188-1996, college: Montana, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Elijah McCadden (193-1999, college: Memphis) came up with 19 points and the other American import point guard Malik Johnson (178-1997, college: Canisius) added 9 points and 8 assists respectively for Spojnia in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. GTK moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Spojnia and Arka. Spojnia lost third consecutive game.
