Twelfth-rankedZastal (10-18) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Czarni (16-12) in Zielona Gora on Wednesday. The visitors from Slupsk managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75 . However their fans expected much easier game. Czarni looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Alex Stein (191-1997, college: S.Indiana) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 assists and the other American import point guard Loren Jackson (173-1996, college: Akron) who added 15 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Darius Perry (188-1999, college: UCF) responded with 15 points and 7 assists and the former international Szymon Wojcik (208-1999, college: UMBC) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Zastal's coach Vladimir Jovanovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Czarni moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gornik and King. Loser Zastal keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost. They share it with GTK and MKS.
