No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedGornik (17-12) crushed 15th ranked Arka (9-20) in Walbrzych 84-63 on Saturday. American guard Ike Smith (193-1997, college: Georgia South) nailed 16 points and 5 assists for the winning side and point guard Aleksander Wisniewski (192-2003) accounted for 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Gornik players scored in double figures. Gornik's coach Andrzej Adamek felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (195-1994) came up with 11 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Adam Hrycaniuk (206-1984, college: Cincinnati) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Arka in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gornik . They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with King and Czarni. Arka lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Spojnia.
