Regular Season Round 1: Poznan - Wisla 67-57

Poznan used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Krakow 67-57 on Saturday night. American power forward Jessika Carter (196-1999, college: MSU) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-1990) accounted for 15 points and 6 assists. American guard Taylor Williams (173-2001, college: Southern) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Stephanie Jones (188-1998, college: Maryland) added 15 points respectively for Wisla in the defeat. Poznan will meet Sosnowiec on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wisla will play against Polonia W-wa and hope to win that game.
