Anwil smashed GTK in Wloclawek 93-58 . They outrebounded GTK 38-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Icelandic point guard Elvar Fridriksson (182-1994, college: Barry) stepped up and scored 16 points and 6 assists for the winners and Croatian center Mate Vucic (206-1997, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Anwil players scored in double figures. At the losing side British forward Jaiden Delaire (206-2000, college: San Diego, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 17 points and American guard Andy Cleaves II (188-1996, college: CS Stanislaus, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
