Regular Season Round 2: Stal - MKS DG 77-91

Very expected game whenStal lost to MKS in Ostrow Wielkopolski 77-91 on Friday. MKS looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Luther Muhammad (191-1999, college: Arizona St.) notched 26 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import power forward E.J. Montgomery (208-1999, college: Kentucky) supported him with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Even 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Trenton Gibson (193-2000, college: Indiana St.) did not help to save the game for Stal . Latvian power forward Mareks Mejeris (207-1991) added 14 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Four MKS and five Stal players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
