Regular Season Round 8: Spojnia 2 - Kruszwica 62-144

There was no surprise in Stargard where 15th rankedSpojnia 2 (1-7) was crushed by fourth ranked Kruszwica (6-2) 144-62 on Sunday. Kruszwica dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Spojnia 2 's 32. Kruszwica forced 31 Spojnia 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 44-17 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kruszwica shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Spojnia 2 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Mateusz Stanczuk who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field) and Krystian Rosinski who added 37 points (!!!), 5 assists and 4 steals (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Kruszwica players scored in double figures. Jakub Wojdak responded with 16 points and Antoni Kolodziej scored 8 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kruszwica keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 7 other teams. Spojnia 2 lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Wloclawek.
