There was a minor upset when 12th rankedMKS (2-6) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Katowice 2 (1-6) 93-78 on Wednesday. Katowice 2 outrebounded MKS DG 2 44-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Bartosz Folga who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Samuel Guslawski who added 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Katowice 2 players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Przemyslaw Zamojski (193-1986, college: Independence) responded with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Maciej Zablocki scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Katowice 2 left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with Gliwice 2. It was MKS DG 2 's fifth loss in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with 10 other teams.
