Everything went according to plan in Walbrzych where sixth rankedGornik (4-2) beat 14th ranked GTK (1-5) 90-81 on Saturday. Gornik dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to GTK 's 22. Gornik looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian forward Tauras Jogela (203-1993, agency: Players Group) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Lovell Cabbil (188-1997, college: Liberty) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Cabbil is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Gornik's coach Andrzej Adamek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Nigerian guard Michael Oguine (188-1996, college: Montana, agency: Network Sports International) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Andy Cleaves II (188-1996, college: CS Stanislaus, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Gornik moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Arka and Czarni. Loser GTK keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Stal and Krosno.
