No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedGornik (5-3) beat 11th ranked MKS (3-5) in Dabrowa Gornicza 96-79 on Saturday. Gornik made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 MKS turnovers. The winners were led by American guard Ike Smith (193-1997, college: Georgia South) who scored that evening 21 points and 4 assists and Lithuanian forward Tauras Jogela (203-1993, agency: Players Group) supported him with 16 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by Czech center Martin Peterka (205-1995) did not help to save the game for MKS . Spanish Marc Garcia (197-1996, agency: Slash Sports) added 19 points for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gornik moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Slask and Anwil. MKS at the other side dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
