Very important is a home loss of second rankedGorzow Wlkp. (5-2) against ninth ranked Torun (3-4) on Saturday night. Host Gorzow Wlkp. was defeated by Torun in a tough game in Gorzow Wielkopolski 67-72 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Gorzow Wlkp.. It was a great evening for American guard Asianae Johnson (173, college: MSU) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. Austrian forward Sarah Sagerer (189-1996, college: Stetson) helped adding 12 points. At the losing side American-Bosnian forward Courtney Hurt (185-1990, college: VCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Australian guard Stephanie Reid (168-1996, college: Buffalo) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Torun have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bydgoszcz and Bochnia. Gorzow Wlkp. at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Gdynia and Wroclaw.
