Twelfth-rankedKotwica (4-7) made lots of trouble for third ranked Kociewskie Diably (9-2) in Starogard Gdanski on Monday. Kociewskie Diably managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94 . However their fans expected much easier game. Starogard Gd. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kotwica 's 36. Starogard Gd. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard DeMonte Buckingham (193-1997, college: UNCG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Mateusz Bartosz (205-1987) who added 25 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-1993) with 22 points and 4 assists and point guard Pawel Dzierzak (188-1995) scored 17 points and 9 assists. Four Starogard Gd. and five Kolobrzeg players scored in double figures. Starogard Gd. moved-up to second place, which they share with Lodz. Kolobrzeg lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with seven games lost. They share it with Poznan.
