The game had a very big importance for second-rankedEnea Astoria as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Enea Astoria smashed 9th ranked Rzeszow in Bydgoszcz 79-60 . Bydgoszcz looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Rzeszow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Jakub Andrzejewski (190-2004) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Mikolaj Jamiolkowski contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American center CliRon Hornbeak (206-2003, college: Kent St., agency: JCK Sports Group) answered with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Bartosz Ciechocinski (203-1991) added 7 points and 4 assists in the effort for Rzeszow. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Rzeszow at the other side keeps the ninth place with six games lost.
