Regular Season Round 9: Czarni - Zastal 63-95

There was a surprise result in Slupsk where thirteenth rankedZastal (4-5) outscored higher ranked Czarni (4-5) 95-63 on Saturday. Zastal shot 65.4 percent from the field and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Andrzej Mazurczak (188-1994, college: Parkside) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Jakub Szumert chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Five Zastal players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Donovan Ivory (198-2001, college: Southern Miss) who recorded 13 points and the other American import guard Chico Carter Jr. (190-2000, college: DePaul) added 14 points respectively. Czarni's coach Roberts Stelmahers gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Zastal moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Czarni . Czarni lost third consecutive game.
