There was no surprise in Wloclawek where 16th rankedMiasto Szkla (1-9) was defeated by seventh ranked Anwil (6-4) 99-93 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Anwil dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Miasto Szkla 's 30. Anwil forced 19 Krosno turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Icelandic point guard Elvar Fridriksson (182-1994, college: Barry) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Michal Michalak (196-1993) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import guard Tre Jackson (185-2001, college: WCU, agency: JCK Sports Group) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anwil moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Legia and Dziki. Krosno lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
