There was an upset when 4th placedWKS Slask (8-4) was outscored by tenth ranked Stal (6-6) in Ostrow Wielkopolski 93-72 on Saturday. Stal dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to WKS Slask 's 18. Stal forced 20 Slask turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian-Croatian guard Luka Sakota (198-2001, college: Northeastern) who led the winners and scored 29 points. American forward Jared Coleman-Jones (208-2000, college: SDSU) came up with 8 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Spanish forward Jakub Urbaniak (206-2003) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Slask in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stal maintains tenth place with 6-6 record. Loser WKS Slask keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Legia.
