The game had a very big importance for second-rankedLodz as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lodz smashed 5th ranked Sokol at home 98-77 . Lodz forced 23 Lancut turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Lancut helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Oleksandr Antypov who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Marcel Ponitka (194-1997, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Milan Milovanovic (207-1991, agency: 011 Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds and Filip Struski (200-1994) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Five Lodz and four Lancut players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lodz (12-2) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Lancut at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost.
