Very important is a road loss of third rankedGornik (7-4) against fifteenth ranked Start (3-8) on Saturday night. Visiting Gornik was defeated by Start in a tough game in Lublin 79-85 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gornik. It was a great evening for American guard Liam OReilly (188-1996, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 assists. His fellow American import forward Quincy Ford (203-1993, college: Northeastern) helped adding 10 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Ike Smith (193-1997, college: Georgia South) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Lithuanian forward Tauras Jogela (203-1993, agency: Players Group) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Start moved-up to fourteenth place. Gornik at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.
