We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth rankedZastal (6-5) defeated 8th ranked Anwil (6-5) in Zielona Gora 91-82 on Monday. Zastal dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Anwil 's 32. Zastal looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (195-1993, college: Marist) who led the winners and scored 31 points. His fellow American import guard Conley Garrison (185-1999, college: Furman) accounted for 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Zastal's coach Arkadiusz Miloszewski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International AJ Slaughter (191-1987, college: WKU) came up with 20 points and Icelandic point guard Elvar Fridriksson (182-1994, college: Barry) added 11 points and 8 assists respectively for Anwil in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zastal have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Anwil.
