The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedLodz (12-3) on the court of eleventh ranked Leszno on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Leszno 86-73 . It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Lodz. Leszno made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Szymon Ryzek (190-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Wendell Mitchell (190-1997, college: Texas A&M) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists for the winners. Leszno's coach Maciej Dudzik used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Aleksander Lewandowski (199-2000) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Lodz. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leszno have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Rzeszow and Poznan. Lodz at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Bydgoszcz and Starogard Gd..
