The game had a very big importance for third-rankedWKS Slask as it allowed them to take a leadership position. WKS Slask defeated 8th ranked Zastal in Wroclaw 90-85 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Zastal. Jamaican-Canadian guard Kadre Gray (186-1997, college: Laurentian) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Naturalized Spanish forward Jakub Urbaniak (206-2003) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Andrzej Mazurczak (188-1994, college: Parkside) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Zastal. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. WKS Slask have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Arka. Zastal at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Anwil.
