The game had a very big importance for second-rankedLodz as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lodz defeated 8th ranked Czarne Koszule at home 84-67 . Lodz looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Polonia W-wa 's players. Tymon Szymanski stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Aleksander Lewandowski (199-2000) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Lodz players scored in double figures.
