Very important is a road loss of third rankedKociewskie Diably (13-4) against twelfth ranked Rzeszow (8-9) on Friday night. Visiting Kociewskie Diably was defeated by Rzeszow in Rzeszow 89-75 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kociewskie Diably. Rzeszow forced 22 Starogard Gd. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Vaulet (194-1998) who led his team to a victory with 25 points. American center CliRon Hornbeak (206-2003, college: Kent St., agency: JCK Sports Group) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Five Rzeszow players scored in double figures. American guard DeMonte Buckingham (193-1997, college: UNCG) replied with 25 points and 4 assists and point guard Adrian Kordalski (187-1995) added 14 points and 7 assists in the effort for Starogard Gd.Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rzeszow moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Starogard Gd. at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Lodz.
