The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Lodz:Lodz (#1) and Widzew (#5). Widzew was defeated at home 63-70 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Power forward Anna Krawiec (178-1995) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Patrycja Kaczor (173-1994) chipped in 20 points. The best for the losing side was forward Natalia Panufnik (182-1996, college: USC Upstate) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds and forward Julia Kobiella (185-2006) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lodz have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-3 record, which they share with Poznan MUKS. Widzew at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost.
