Regular Season Round 18: Olesnica - Prudnik 77-70

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Olesnica (8-9) won against at home second-best Prudnik (14-3) 77-70 on Saturday. Kacper Kuta (196-1994) notched 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Tomasz Prostak (188-1988) supported him with 15 points. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by swingman Patryk Garwol (189-1995) did not help to save the game for Prudnik. point guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-1977) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Olesnica moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Mogilno. Loser Prudnik keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with AGH Krakow and Kielce. Olesnica will meet higher ranked WKK 2 (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Prudnik will play against Gimbasket and hope to secure a win.
