The most exciting game of round 16 in the OBL took place in Warszawa. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th rankedDziki (9-7) to first ranked WKS Slask (12-4) 82-81 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. 26 personal fouls committed by Dziki helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Jamaican-Canadian guard Kadre Gray (186-1997, college: Laurentian) fired 23 points for the winners. Naturalized Spanish forward Jakub Urbaniak (206-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American guard Landrius Horton (193-1998, college: Columbus St.) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Rivaldo Soares (198-1999, college: Oklahoma) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. WKS Slask have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-4 record, which they share with Arka. Dziki at the other side keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Anwil and Gornik.
