Fifteenth-rankedGTK (3-13) made lots of trouble for tenth ranked Stal (8-8) in Gliwice on Sunday. The visitors from Ostrow Wielkopolski managed to secure only three-point victory 76-73 . However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian power forward Mareks Mejeris (207-1991) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American Daniel Laster (199-1996, college: Gardner-Webb) who added 15 points during the contest. Four Stal players scored in double figures. Stal's coach Andrzej Urban used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American power forward Wesley Gordon (205-1994, college: Colorado) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and British forward Jaiden Delaire (206-2000, college: San Diego, agency: Slash Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Stal moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Zastal. GTK lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 13 games lost.
