Rather predictable result when fourth rankedPoznan (11-5) won against on the road 7th ranked Gdynia (7-9) 78-71 on Sunday. Poznan made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American power forward Jessika Carter (196-1999, college: MSU) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-1990) supported her with 16 points. Poznan's coach Wojciech Szawarski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 25 points and 6 rebounds by American Leah Scott (183-1993, college: Marshall) did not help to save the game for Gdynia . Her fellow American import center Camille Hobby (190-2001, college: Illinois) added 14 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Poznan have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Wroclaw. Defending champion Gdynia keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Wisla.
