There was no surprise when 14th rankedJelenia Gora (6-17) was crushed on the road by second ranked Prudnik (17-4) 99-73 on Saturday. Prudnik looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a great evening for Mikolaj Kowalczyk (195-2005) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Wojciech Jakubiak (188-1996) helped adding 17 points and 13 assists. Five Prudnik players scored in double figures. Guard Damian Ostrowski (186-1998) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Piotr Gorecki (188-2004) scored 11 points. Jelenia Gora's coach Jaroslaw Wilusz gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Prudnik maintains second place with 17-4 record having seven points less than leader Zgorzelec. Loser Jelenia Gora keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost.
