Regular Season Round 23: Lancut - Tychy 71-80

The most shocking disappointment of round 23 in the 1Liga was a home defeat of 4th placedLancut (14-8) to seventh ranked Tychy (13-9) 80-71 . It ended the five-game winning streak of Lancut . It was a great evening for point guard Sebastian Bozenko (183-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Szymon Kiwilsza (201-1997) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian power forward Milan Milovanovic (207-1991, agency: 011 Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Filip Zegzula (188-1994) scored 13 points. Four Sokol players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tychy moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Pelplin. Lancut at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost.
