Regular Season Round 24: Zyrardow - Lowicz 72-76

There was no surprise when 8th rankedZyrardow (12-11) lost at home to fifth ranked Ksiezak (17-7) 76-72 on Wednesday. Lowicz outrebounded Zyrardow 47-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by power forward Jakub Kukiela (202-2002) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and forward Pawel Zalewski (188-1998) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Even 18 points by point guard Tomasz Bodzan (183-2008) did not help to save the game for Zyrardow . Guard Eryk Gasinski (181-2004) added 13 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Ksiezak have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Lowicz maintains fifth position with 17-7 record. Loser Zyrardow dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost.
