Everything went according to plan in Stalowa Wola where seventh rankedSosnowiec (15-12) won against 11th ranked Stal (10-17) 79-70 on Friday. Sosnowiec dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Stal SW 's 28. Sosnowiec looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Christian Guess (199-1998, college: PVAMU) had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Przemyslaw Golek (196-2000, college: Fairmont St.) chipped in 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Guard Wiktor Siemianiuk (186-2004) responded with 22 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and guard Norbert Maciejak (184-2002) scored 13 points. Stal SW's coach Rafal Partyka rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sosnowiec have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 15-12 record, which they share with Miedzychod and Klodzko. Loser Stal SW keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost.
