There was no surprise when 14th rankedKatowice 2 (7-20) was crushed at home by first ranked Polonia (25-1) 84-59 on Saturday. Bytom forced 21 Katowice 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. Wojciech Leszczynski (190-1992) scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Krzysztof Wasowicz (183-1994) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Polonia players scored in double figures. Center Bartosz Folga (205-2008) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Mateusz Pluta (188-2005) scored 12 points. Katowice 2's coach Jacek Wroblewski gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Polonia have an impressive 21-game winning streak.
