OBLK top team -Gorzow Wlkp. (19-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Polonia W-wa (8-14) in Warszawa 91-51 . Gorzow Wlkp. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Polonia W-wa 's 24. They outrebounded Polonia W-wa 41-29 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Gorzow Wlkp. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American guard Ashley Owusu (183-2001, college: Penn State) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international center Weronika Telenga (192-1995) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. Four Gorzow Wlkp. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Erika Davenport (182-1997, college: Marquette) responded with 9 points and 10 rebounds and center Weronika Wesolowska (184-2004) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gorzow Wlkp. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-3 record. Polonia W-wa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Bochnia.
