There was a small surprise when eleventh rankedGAK Gdynia (12-16) defeated at home 8th ranked Kutno BNG (16-12) 90-82 on Saturday. Strangely Kutno BNG outrebounded GAK Gdynia 47-33 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Cezary Zabrocki (187-2006) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Kacper Ponitka (192-2006) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four GAK Gdynia players scored in double figures. GAK Gdynia's coach Nikola Avramovic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Hubert Lewandowski (192-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) and forward Mikolaj Wojciechowski (198-2004) added 9 points and 17 rebounds respectively for lost side. GAK Gdynia moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Pyra. Loser Kutno BNG dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
