There was a minor upset in Zielona Gora where 10th rankedZastal (12-12) was edged by twelfth ranked Twarde Pierniki (10-14) 90-88 on Sunday. Arriva P.Cukier looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Mateusz Szlachetka (196-1999) who scored 22 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Serbian Aleksandar Langovic (205-2001) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Jakub Szumert (205-2005) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (195-1993, college: Marist) added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Arriva P.Cukier and four Zastal players scored in double figures. Zastal's coach Arkadiusz Miloszewski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Arriva P.Cukier maintains twelfth position with 10-14 record. Loser Zastal keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Anwil.
