No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedLodz (19-11) crushed at home 8th ranked Kotwica (15-15) 91-66 on Thursday. Lodz dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Kotwica 's 20. Lodz outrebounded Kolobrzeg 45-29 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Marcel Ponitka (194-1997, agency: Alti Sport) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Jaquan Carlos (183-2002, college: Syracuse) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Lodz players scored in double figures. American point guard KJ Feagin (185-1997, college: SDSU) came up with 25 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Pawel Leonczyk (205-1986) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Kolobrzeg in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
