There was no surprise when 13th rankedLeszno (12-18) lost to third ranked Spojnia (20-10) in Stargard 75-82 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Wojciech Czerlonko (201-1995) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Jaroslaw Mokros (201-1990) accounted for 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Wendell Mitchell (190-1997, college: Texas A&M) came up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Szymon Ryzek (190-1997) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Leszno in the defeat. Five Stargard and four Leszno players scored in double figures. Stargard moved-up to second place, which they share with Starogard Gd. and Lancut. Leszno lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 18 games lost. They share it with Rzeszow and Opole.
