Regular Season Round 28: Arka - Slask 101-87

Very important is a road loss of third rankedWKS Slask (18-9) against fifth ranked Arka (17-11) on Tuesday night. Visiting WKS Slask was defeated by Arka in Gdynia 101-87 . Arka made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Arka outrebounded Slask 39-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American Mike Okauru (191-1999, college: UNCW) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). The former international Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-1992) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Jamaican-Canadian guard Kadre Gray (186-1997, college: Laurentian) replied with 18 points and 8 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Serbian power forward Stefan Djordjevic (206-1998) added 20 points in the effort for Slask. Five Arka and four Slask players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Arka maintains fifth position with 17-11 record, which they share with Dziki. Slask lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with nine games lost.
