There was no surprise in Krosno where 16th rankedMiasto Szkla (4-24) was defeated by eleventh ranked Zastal (15-13) 99-87 on Thursday. Zastal looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (195-1993, college: Marist) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 assists and the former international Jakub Szumert (205-2005) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Ben Shungu (188-1997, college: Vermont) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import guard Marcus Shaver Jr (188-1998, college: Boise St., agency: MSG) scored 16 points. Five Zastal and four Krosno players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zastal moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Krosno lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games.
