Benfica players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Ovarense was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American Trey Drechsel (198-1996, college: GCU, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Aaron Broussard (196-1990, college: Seattle) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side guard Gustavo Teixeira (185-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and American Daniel Oladapo (203-2000, college: NCCU) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
