Regular Season Round 4: Mladost ZE - Metalac VL 70-80

Metalac VL can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Mladost (2-2) on the road game in Zemun 80-70 . Mladost was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ikenna Okeke (198-2001, college: Missouri S&T) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import Jeremiah Gambrell Jr. (190-2000, college: Alcorn St., agency: BIG) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Metalac VL players scored in double figures. Swingman Luka Gasic (195-1998) replied with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Stefan Fundic (200-1994) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Mladost. Mladost ZE's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Metalac VL (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Mladost at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
