The game had a very big importance for second-rankedInter Bratislava as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Inter Bratislava defeated 3rd placed Blue Wings at home 83-79 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Blue Wings. The best player for the winners was American swingman RJ Gunn (201-1999, college: Duquesne, agency: Players Group) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Isaiah Cousins (193-1994, college: Oklahoma, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. The former international center Michal Fusek (223-1995, agency: 011 Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American forward Chuck OBannon Jr (198-1999, college: TCU) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Four Inter Bratislava and five Blue Wings players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Blue Wings dropped to the fifth place with four games lost.
