Very expected game when 9th rankedIskra Svit (7-15) was smashed by fifth ranked Blue Wings (13-9) in Nitra 97-78 on Saturday. Blue Wings looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American guard Kobe Langley (185-2000, college: UNCG) who scored that evening 19 points and 8 assists and the former international center Michal Fusek (223-1995, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Blue Wings' coach Krunoslav Krajnovic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 24 points by American guard Tedrick Wilcox (198, college: Hampton) did not help to save the game for Iskra Svit . His fellow American import guard Xavier Bledson (198-1999, college: Indiana St.) added 14 points and 6 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Five Blue Wings and four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Blue Wings maintains fifth position with 13-9 record. Loser Iskra Svit keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost.
