Not a big story in a game in Nitra where bottom-rankedNEXTGEN (0-28) was defeated by fifth ranked Blue Wings (17-12) 77-66 on Wednesday. Blue Wings forced 24 NEXTGEN turnovers. American guard Ryland Holt (198, college: WTAM, agency: Starting 5) stepped up and scored 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Chuck OBannon Jr (198-1999, college: TCU) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Bruno Randuska (191-2008) responded with 18 points and swingman Martin Minarovjech (201-2007) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Four NEXTGEN players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Blue Wings . They moved-up to fourth place. NEXTGEN lost their twenty eighth game in a row. They still close the standings.
